Creative and Practical Problem Solving has been an integral part of my senior project and without that valuable skill, my project would have been much harder if not impossible. Learning to persevere in solving problems (3.6) was vital when my original case design failed and had to be redone 4 times until a correct solution was created and printed. Observing and evaluating situations to define problems (3.1) played a big part in my project, when I was printing parts that print for upwards of 18 hours, I needed to be able to diagnose and repair problems before I wasted both time and money. The key skill of using information and technological resources to solve problems (3.4) was even more important as there were many problems that arose because I was very new with everything. When I was creating my case, and the designs were not lining up, I learned how to generate and evaluate a variety of solutions to determine the most effective response (3.5) in order to create the proper case design even with many ideas of how it can look.
