Clear and Effective Communicator

As for being a Clear and Effective Communicator, when planning the Climb to Remember which was a JROTC project which aimed to coordinate hikes on all 14 of Maine’s peaks over 4000 feet. Being the battalion’s executive officer, it was my job to coordinate hiking groups and supplies to get to the summits. Coordinating with hiking groups required me to articulate ideas in an organized and logical manner (1.4) and to communicate questions, ideas, and conclusions with clarity and precision (1.2). When planning the logistics of operating such a hike, I had to work independently and/or collaboratively to obtain, evaluate, and communicate information (1.5) in order to effectively plan and execute the mission.
